Tally Executive

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tally Executive to join our team. The Tally Executive will be responsible for accurately recording and managing financial transactions using Tally software. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent numerical proficiency, and the ability to work with precision.
Responsibilities:
1. Data Entry:
• Enter financial transactions into the Tally software system with a high degree of accuracy.
• Ensure timely and error-free recording of invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions.
2. Ledger Maintenance:
• Maintain and update general ledgers.
• Reconcile discrepancies between Tally records and supporting documents.
3. Financial Reporting:
• Generate various financial reports as required by management.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and other reports on a regular basis.
4. Compliance:
• Ensure adherence to accounting and regulatory standards.
• Keep abreast of changes in financial regulations and accounting standards.
5. Data Analysis:
• Analyze financial data for discrepancies and resolve any issues promptly.
• Provide insights into financial trends and variances.
6. Collaboration:
• Collaborate with other departments to obtain necessary information for accurate financial recording.
• Work closely with the finance team to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
7. Backup and Security:
• Regularly backup Tally data to prevent data loss.
• Implement security measures to protect financial data and ensure confidentiality.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Tally Operator or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and Tally software.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
