Shopify Categorization Project
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I need help categorizing an extensive amount of Shopify listings.
I have thousands of listings on my Shopify store that are currently uncategorized. Your primary task will be to carefully sort these products into relevant categories and sub-categories based on their product types.
Key Requirements:
- Expertise in Shopify and its backend management
- Excellent understanding of product categorization and taxonomy
- Experience with managing large number of product listings
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently
Please note that I will need you to categorize all listings promptly and ensure that each product is placed in the correct category.
All products need to be correctly categorized.
Create appropriate main Category (Ex. Electronics,Home Furnishings,Sporting Goods,Food & Beverage..)
Create appropriate sub-categories for each main category. If necessary, create 2nd level sub categories. For example: If you have Candles and Candle Holders, it should be as follows: Home Furnishings>Candles>Candle Holders
The layout on the Home page should include the following:
a. Under Shop By Category this should be the Main Category. All products must be visible, within the main
category
b. The drop down menu must show all Main Categories with the sub categories listed below.
c. Under Featured Collections, this should include items from each Main Category. The listings should
rotate weekly. Would be interested in learning if this can be done within the theme automatically.
New Products will be uploaded to drafts, thus it's easy to find them.
Once you have them categorized, move them to Active status.
Will edit this ad, once we negotiate the price and the number of listings completed, per week to show the total # of listings to be completed. This is for a bid for 30 days, at a time. Looking for number of completed listings, within that 30 day window. You should bid for "X". number of listings completed in a 30 day window, to be paid weekly by dividing your bid and the number of completed listings.
This is a repeatable project, as I will be adding 1000s of products weekly.
Will need an excel sheet weekly, of completed listings to include the following data:
a. Product SKU
b. Product Title
c. Product Tags used
d. Vendor Name ( Do not change this)
e. Product ID #
f. Category Name
I have software loaded on Shopify now, that will allow you to retrieve all Drafts (where the listings are held) and create the tags and such on a CSV sheet, if that is faster for you. Currently there are products categorized, but I want the menu corrected. All that is on there now is Clothing broken up by style. These are all Women clothing, with the exception of child swimsuits. I want the drop down menu to read Clothing>Women> "style". Then repeat for Men, Kids.
