We need an expert webscraper to do data research for a project we are working on. The focus of this extraction will be from the websites of both two- and four-year colleges, trade schools, as well as public and private universities. Specifically, institutions that are situated within the United States and that DO NOT have an on-campus food pantry.
For those institutions that DO NOT have an on-campus food pantry, we need the following information:
- Direct name of ONE (1) high-level individual within the Student Affairs office, or an equivalent office
- Direct email address of said high-level individual
- Direct phone number of said high-level individual
- We WILL NOT accept general contact information for any institution
There are approximately 6,500 institutions within the US. It is conceivable that only a small percentage do not have on-campus pantries. Ideally, we would like to receive at least 3,500 results from this, but we will be satisfied with 2,000 results.
Ideal Skills:
- Experience in building web scrapers or crawlers
- Familiarity with data extraction, particularly from institution-based websites
- Knowledge about university/college formats would be beneficial
- Mastery in handling and cleaning text-based data
