Research & produce list of event suppliers in certain industries -- 2
Budget: $10 – $30 AUD
I am looking for a freelancer to research and produce a comprehensive list of event suppliers in multiple industries. These are for a website which makes it easy for event organisers to find event security companies to help them put on their event (which could be quite a small party, through to a huge concert).
Industry of interest is "Event Security". Ie. google "event security" to get a list of people whom are able to supply event security staff.
What i'm after specifically, is a list of roughly 10-15 event security suppliers/companies for the major city in each state in Australia (Victoria (Melbourne), New South Wales (Sydney), Tasmania (Hobart), Queensland (Brisbane / Gold Coast / Cairns), Australian Capital Territory (ACT) (Canberra), Northern Territory (Darwin / Alice Springs), South Australia (Adelaide), Western Australia (Perth / Broome)).
Ie. 10-15 suppliers for Victoria, 10-15 suppliers for Queensland, etc.
For each supplier, i'd like to know;
* State (ie. Victoria / New South Wales / etc)
* Name of company
* Main Website (ie. https://mycompany.com)
* Main phone number, including an area code - ie. 03 9800 1111
* Areas they service - Ie. Melbourne, or Melbourne & across Victoria, or Melbourne, Victoria & Australia wide, or Melbourne & Ballarat (another city in Victoria), etc. If a company services multiple states, they should be listed against the state where their head office is / their main base is.
* Contact name for business owner / operations (if possible)
* Position (if possible)
* Email (if possible)
A google sheet will be shared with the successful person with those headings, and will need to be completed.
The list should include over 70 event suppliers (there won't be as many suppliers in ACT and Tasmania, due to their smaller sizes).
Only one entry per company should be included in the spreadsheet - they should only be shown in the state where their head office is (or where they're based / work the most).
Don't include suppliers who obviously don't include event security as part of their services - ie. a company whom only secures contruction sites, or only supplies bodyguards shouldn't be on the list.
Ideal skills and experience for this job include:
- Strong research skills
- Basic knowledge of the event industries
- Attention to detail in gathering and organizing information
- Ability to meet deadlines and deliver a high-quality list of event suppliers.
