Remote SQL Data Entry

The task centres on taking raw information I supply—mostly CSV and Excel files—and inserting it accurately into an SQL-based database. Each batch will arrive already structured; my priority is clean, error-free entry and consistent field mapping so reports generated from the tables stay reliable.

You will connect through a VPN to our staging server (MySQL 8). I’ll provide clear column-to-column mapping sheets plus a small validation script. After each upload, run the script and export a log so I can confirm everything balanced before we move the records to production.

Deliverables
• All rows from the supplied files inserted into the correct tables with primary/foreign keys intact
• Validation log showing zero mismatches or duplicates
• A brief note highlighting any ambiguous fields you had to clarify

Acceptance criteria
The job is complete when the validation script returns “OK” for every table and the record counts in the database match the counts in the original files. Turnaround for each batch is 24 hours or less.

If you are comfortable working remotely with SQL Server or MySQL, have an eye for detail, and can keep data confidential, this should be straightforward, repeatable work.
