Remote Emergency Dispatcher Role (Fire & Police / Safety)
Budget: $2 – $8 USD
Our non-profit is seeking part-time emergency dispatchers that will be fully remote but responsible for monitoring the City of Los Angeles emergency radio traffic, associating radio transmissions with active incidents using an online dashboard, and creating new incidents based on radio traffic in real-time.
The person will also take contextual notes from the radio traffic and add it to notes of the incident.
You must have a good understanding of the English language, and be able to quickly pickup on Los Angeles geography and fire department "jargon".
All tools neccecery will be provided by an online dashboard. You will need a computer, a mobile device will not work.
In your proposal, please write any prior experience in listening to or monitoring radio traffic, along with general availability for major American holidays.
