I keep our books in QuickBooks Online but the rapid growth of the business means our bank and credit-card balances no longer line up with the general ledger. I need a meticulous bookkeeper who can jump in immediately, bring every account to a clean, reconciled state, and leave a clear audit trail so I can see exactly what was fixed and why.

Your first priority will be reconciling all outstanding transactions for the current year—deposits, transfers, merchant-processor batches, and credit-card expenses—until the QuickBooks ending balances match the bank statements to the penny. Once that foundation is solid, I’d like you to:

• generate up-to-date monthly P&L and balance-sheet reports straight from QuickBooks
• flag any uncategorized or suspicious transactions for review
• create a simple workflow or checklist I can follow to keep things tidy going forward
