Enclosed you will find 3 documents: a Word doc, an Excel spreadsheet, and a PDF.
You will be working on the Excel spreadsheet for this project with reference to the other documents.
Background:
The client is an IT training service provider in Southeast Asia with revenue of around US$10m per year. It is currently in the process of evaluating buyers to sell its business to based on their industry, size, and geography. The list of buyers are all either directly or indirectly in the field of IT training / services or are private equity firms.
Job:
For each buyer name on the PDF file and the Word doc, add it to the spreadsheet via a new row if it is *not already on the Excel spreadsheet*. Fill columns B to G, M to X, and AC to AE based on the supporting documents provided and online research, all the while following the existing rows' formatting and wording throughout.
Note:
Column D: assign a tier from 1-3 based on below instruction
Tier 1 = Ideal Buyer - ticks the boxes for all 3 factors, Business model (IT services / training), size (annual revenue above US$20m and geography (Southeast Asia / Asia Pacific)
Tier 2 = Sub-Ideal - ticks 2 of the 3 boxes
Tier 3 = A little Far Fetched - only ticks 1 out of the 3 boxes
Column E: comment on the tiering rationale, following the previous rows' format
Column M: can be pasted from LinkedIn profile or website's "about us" section
Column N: check whether the buyer is strategic (meaning it's in the field of IT services / training), and if so backed by PE or not (provide the name of PE in column O)
Column V: check if the buyer has any partnerships or authorized training programs with any of the IT companies mentioned (AWS, Oracle, Red Hat, Cisco, VMWare, SAP, Google Cloud, etc.)
Columns AC to AE: find the contact information of the company's Southeast Asia head of Corporate Development, CEO, CFO, or other executives
