Proactive Computer Admin Assistant
Budget: $8 – $15 USD
I need a reliable pair of hands to jump in and clear a steady stream of small, very specific computer-based admin jobs for me. Most of the work falls into two broad areas:
• Data entry & processing – this is often as straightforward as copying and pasting short scripts or snippets into different pieces of software or web tools, checking that the action completed correctly, and noting the result. I supply clear, step-by-step guidance for each workflow, yet I expect you to spot anything odd and flag it without waiting to be asked.
• Research & documentation – you’ll help me dig up quick facts for light market research, draft or tidy up brief technical notes, and untangle the occasional problem when instructions are unclear. Summaries generally end up in Google Docs or Notion.
A go-getter mindset is more important than deep technical expertise; if you can follow instructions, think ahead, and Google when you get stuck, you’ll do well. Familiarity with simple tools such as Google Sheets, basic databases, or online automation dashboards is a plus but not mandatory.
Deliverables I expect:
1. Clean, up-to-date data sheets or app entries after each task cycle.
2. Concise research briefs or technical notes that I can read at a glance.
3. A short daily status message highlighting anything that needs my decision.
I’m flexible on hours as long as communication is prompt and the agreed tasks are closed out on time. Let me know your typical availability, any relevant experience with similar copy-paste automation or online research, and why this sort of varied workload appeals to you.
