Pre-Employment Vetting Project, Taiwan
Budget: $10 – $60 USD
I must verify the employment history of prospective hires who have worked in Taiwan before their offers can be finalized. The task involves contacting each past employer named by the candidates, confirming their dates of employment, job titles, and (when possible) the reason for departure. All work needs to comply with Taiwanese privacy and labour regulations, so discretion and accurate record-keeping are critical.
Deliverables
• A concise verification report for every candidate, detailing:
- Company contacted, HR or supervisor name, phone/email, date of contact
- Confirmed start and end dates, position held, employment type (full-time, contract, etc.)
- Any discrepancies found and a short explanation
• Screenshots, email threads, or signed letters that substantiate each confirmation
• A single summary sheet that flags candidates with mismatched or unverified information
Acceptance criteria
The project is complete when every candidate’s history on the list is either fully verified or clearly marked “unable to verify,” with supporting evidence attached. Reports must be delivered in English and in an editable format (Excel or Google Sheet for the summary, PDF for supporting documents).
