I have a batch of text-based information captured in PDF forms that now needs careful cleaning and structured entry into a spreadsheet. The PDFs contain fields filled out by hand or typed, so the job involves accurately extracting the text, standardizing spellings and formats, flagging any illegible bits, and then exporting the final, clean dataset.
You’ll work directly from the PDFs, no databases or CSV feeds involved. I’ll supply the files plus a template sheet that shows the exact columns and field names expected. Accuracy is key: every entry must mirror the source wording once it’s been cleaned of extra spaces, inconsistent capitalization, or obvious typos.
Deliverables
• A fully populated spreadsheet (Excel or Google Sheets) matching the template
• A log noting any ambiguous or unreadable entries so I can review them
• Confirmation that no text has been missed and that each record aligns with its original PDF form
If you have solid experience with PDF text extraction tools (Adobe Acrobat, PDF-to-Excel utilities, or a reliable OCR workflow) and an eye for detail, this should be a straightforward assignment.
