OCR & Bookmark Arbitration PDFs
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹2,000 INR
I have multiple arbitration-related PDF volumes containing scanned legal documents, including:
Volume I – Statement of Claim (with annexures)
Volume II – Exhibits (C-1 to C-133) and supporting correspondence
Index sheet in Word & Excel formats (with bookmark structure)
The PDFs need to be converted into OCR-searchable format and bookmarked as per the provided index sheet.
Scope of Work: OCR Processing - Convert all scanned PDFs into fully searchable text while preserving original layout, formatting, and pagination. OCR in English (and Hindi if present).
Output as PDF/A archival format if possible.
Bookmarking
Create structured bookmarks exactly as per the index sheet provided (main sections, sub-sections, exhibits). Bookmarks must be correctly named and hierarchically nested for easy navigation. Bookmark names must exactly match the index (e.g., “Exhibit C-11 – Work Order No. 1(F)”).
File Optimization
Reduce file size without loss of readability (preferably under 50 MB per file). Ensure compatibility with standard PDF readers like Adobe Acrobat and Foxit Reader.
Quality Control - All text must be selectable and searchable. Page numbering must remain identical to the original. Bookmarks must link to the correct page.
Files Provided:
Original PDF Volumes (scanned legal documents). Index sheet in Word and Excel (detailing bookmark names and hierarchy).
Zip folder containing exhibits. Deliverables:
Volume I – OCR Searchable + Bookmarked PDF
Volume II – OCR Searchable + Bookmarked PDF
Any additional PDF volumes if required.
Confirmation report of OCR accuracy and bookmark testing.

This work involves legal arbitration documents, so accuracy and confidentiality are critical. A non-disclosure agreement (NDA) will be required before file sharing.
