I hope you are well! We are looking for someone to help us with a very important project. If your work output on this project is high quality, this project will lead to a long-term contract with lots of hours of work.
We are building a database of thousands of food products, their ingredient lists, their allergen statements, and their UPC codes (the number that is next to the barcode on a food product).
People with dietary restrictions will be using this database to help them find food that matches their needs, so it's INCREDIBLY important that the database is as accurate as possible. I cannot stress enough how important attention-to-detail is with this work.
Description of the work:
We have hundreds of pictures of food labels. You will be responsible for viewing these photos and transcribing the ingredient and allergen statements into a spreadsheet. Strong English skills are a requirement for this work.
