Manual Sales Data Entry Cleanup
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I have several months of sales transactions stored in Microsoft Access files that now need attention. Each record must be opened, checked for duplicate or missing fields, corrected where necessary, and then keyed—manually—into my master Access database. Accuracy is everything; even small formatting inconsistencies in dates, currency, or product codes disrupt our reporting.
You’ll receive the source .accdb files and a short validation guide explaining the exact field names, required formats, and the business rules that govern each entry. I will spot-check the first few hundred rows; once we are aligned, you can continue with the rest.
Deliverables
• A fully updated master Access database containing every cleaned sales record
• A brief log that lists any ambiguous entries or assumptions you had to make
• Confirmation that error-rate after spot-checks is under 1 %
Once this batch is complete—and if the results match the standards above—there will be additional files ready to process.
