Katana MRP Data Entry Specialist Needed: Import Products & Update Operations/Recipes from Excel

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented freelancer with hands-on experience using Katana MRP to assist with an important data entry and system update project. The core tasks will include importing a list of new products from an Excel spreadsheet into our Katana account and accurately updating each product’s operations and recipe (bill of materials/routings) according to provided information.
Project Scope:
You will receive an Excel sheet containing product details that need to be imported into Katana MRP.
Each product must have its associated operations and recipe correctly set up or updated within Katana, based on the data provided or in collaboration with our team if clarification is needed.
You may need to double-check data for accuracy, ensure that recipes and operations are properly assigned, and flag any inconsistencies or questions.
Communication is key: we expect regular updates on your progress and any issues encountered.
A test/trial with one product may be requested before proceeding with the full import, to ensure process alignment and data accuracy.
Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience working with Katana MRP, specifically with product imports and recipe/operations setup.
Strong familiarity with Excel or Google Sheets and handling large data sets.
High attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to follow instructions precisely and ask questions when clarification is needed.
Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
Experience with manufacturing, inventory, or ERP systems is a plus.

You will be provided with secure, limited access to our Katana account strictly for this project.
Confidentiality and professionalism are required at all times.
Upon completion, your access will be revoked.
