Inventory PDF to Excel Transfer Program - needs to be user friendly
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
I'm looking for a skilled developer to create a program to accurately transfer data from complex inventory lists, presented as PDFs is different formats.
Attached are the two example documents:
1. Tenancy Schedules
- contains lease information for tenants at multiple different properties
2. Lease Evidence & Expiry Schedule
- our internal tracking sheet for the key information from the tenancy schedules
> The task is to create a program to input the key details from the PDF Tenancy Schedules into the Lease Evidence & Expiry Schedule.
> i have started the spreadsheet and completed the details for the first 3 properties on the Tenancy Schedules, to give you an example.
> I have also highlighted in yellow the columns that we require you to fill out on the spreadsheet, and also highlighted the corresponding items on the first page of the Tenancy Schedule as an example on where to look for the right information.
> While not every tenancy schedule or individual lease record contains all the same information, you will generally be able to find most of these items and fill them in on the spreadsheet. If unsure, simply leave the relevant cell blank.
> Columns N, O, P and Q on the spreadsheet are highlighted in grey and should not be altered or manually touched, as the cells within these four columns contain formulas which auto populate the required information based on the data you include in the other cells.
Ideal skills and experience:
The interface needs to be user friendly.
• Programming (ideally Python or similar)
• Experience with data extraction and data management
• Familiarity with PDF and Excel file interactions
• Attention to detail
The end goal is to have a program to handle this process efficiently and accurately to minimize errors in data transfer and save us valuable time.
