Inventory Input Form Automation

Job ID: 39853892

Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR

I update our inventory workbook every day and would like to replace the purely manual typing with a clean, user-friendly input form inside Excel. The data itself will still come from staff checking stock levels by hand, but instead of dropping the numbers straight into random cells I want a guided form that:

• opens from a simple button,
• offers drop-downs for item codes, locations and units,
• validates quantities on the spot (no negatives, no text in number fields),
• writes each submission as a new row in a structured table that drives our existing pivot summaries.

Everything needs to sit in a single .xlsm file so colleagues on standard Office 365 can use it without extra add-ins. Clear, commented VBA is fine; Power Query or modern Excel functions are welcome if they simplify maintenance.

Once the form is in place I should be able to hand the workbook to non-technical staff, let them click and submit, and trust that the data lands exactly where it should every time. If that sounds straightforward, let me know how you’d wire it up and roughly how long you’ll need.
