500 Indian Temples Dataset
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I’m putting together a master spreadsheet of 500 notable temples drawn from Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Kerala, Gujarat, and Uttar Pradesh. For each shrine I need reliable, copyright-free information that can flow straight into my website without additional re-formatting.
What I expect for every temple
• Basic profile: exact location (village/town, district, state, GPS if available) and a short, well-sourced history.
• Worship details: main deity, daily pooja schedule, special rituals or festivals and their timing.
• Visitor info: opening/closing hours, entry rules if any, and a succinct “how to reach” section covering road, rail, and nearest airport.
• Context: 2-3 nearby temples or other landmarks worth mentioning.
• Images: 4-5 high-quality, non-copyrighted photos shot from different key angles (main gopuram, sanctum, premises, etc.)—either your own work or from verifiable CC0 / public-domain sources.
• Everything neatly organised in an Excel file ready for CSV import (one row per temple, separate columns for each data point; photos delivered in an accompanying folder with filenames referenced in the sheet).
Accuracy and originality are crucial; I’ll spot-check facts and run all text through plagiarism detection. If any image licenses are unclear, please include the source link so I can verify usage rights quickly.
Once I confirm the first 10 sample entries, you can proceed with the full batch. Let’s make this a definitive, publication-ready reference on these sacred sites.
