We are thrilled to invite you to participate in an exclusive collaboration with ChatGPT, the cutting-edge AI language model that is revolutionizing the world of creative writing.
As a professional writer, your expertise and talent make you the perfect partner to help us explore the boundless possibilities of human-AI collaboration. Imagine having a co-author who never tires, produces ideas at lightning speed, and is available 24/7 to assist you in crafting the perfect narrative. That's precisely what ChatGPT offers. We're asking you to create a 1000-2000 word story, working hand-in-hand with ChatGPT as your personal muse and collaborative partner.
The goal of this project is to demonstrate the power of AI-assisted creativity when merged with the unique brilliance of the human mind. We encourage you to use ChatGPT in any way you see fit: brainstorming ideas, developing intricate plots, creating dynamic characters, or even polishing your prose. The focus is on fostering a true collaboration, allowing you to achieve new heights in storytelling.
You will be provided with a pool of titles. You need to choose a title from the list and an appropriate genre to generate a plot.The plot will usually follow a three-act narrative structure with |newsituation|, '|progress|', '|complication|', |finalpush| and |aftermath|. AI-generated plots can be sometimes good but also very predictable or cliched. Under such circumstances, we encourage you to edit the plot to your own liking
Once you have a plot in mind you can generate a story from the AI conditioned on the plot. The generated story by all means is only a first draft that unleashes the extent to which AI can write a story. You have full liberty to edit/erase/ rewrite chunks of text from AI-generated story
To help AI be a better companion we also allow you to use the chatbot on the right bottom part of the screen. Here you can ask the AI questions by selecting some of the Templated prompts: i) Generate Continuation ii) Elaborate Selection iii) Rewrite with imagery iv) Insert Monologue/Dialogue v) Get Feedback. These are by no means exhaustive and you are welcome to ask anything the AI including asking it questions about a place, detail about a scene, a character attribute, or how to write a piece of text in the style of Murakami
Our goal is for you to write a high-quality story while at the same time maintaining a healthy amount your interaction between yourself and AI. Try to balance the degree of collaboration. Too much participation from yourself or AI hinders us from measuring collaboration.

Once you finish writing and are satisfied with the final story, hit Save to receive the verification code. Make sure you retain this code. Upon task completion, you will be asked to fill out a short Google form to share your experience which will help us make the interface better.
