Help import excel workbook into project

I work in broadband Engineering and Construction. I've been using an excel REPORT the past two weeks to capture and track permits against work orders. There are 10,000 lines on my excel file. I was going to use Lists which i love the platform, but it will only handle 5,000 or less lines. The excel file is ran each day with the columns staying the same. Need to be able to capture notes and status on each permit against each project all the while uploading new data that is added to the report each week. I must be able to capture each work order and permit against it and track that permit to approval.
