Google Drive Document Re-Sort

Job ID: 40085514

Budget: $50 – $75 USD

My Google Drive is overflowing with documents tied to different patients and service categories, and the current layout makes it hard to locate anything quickly. I need you to design and implement a logical folder structure that first separates files by category—then nests each patient’s records inside the right category folder under the patient’s name.

A clear, uniform naming convention must be applied to every file. I’m leaning toward something like PatientName_Category_Date or a similarly concise pattern, but I’m open to your recommendations as long as the final rule is followed consistently throughout the drive.

Deliverables
• A written outline of the proposed folder hierarchy and naming convention for sign-off before you begin moving files
• All existing documents sorted into the new structure inside Google Drive
• Files renamed to match the approved convention (no broken links or duplicates)
• A brief “how-to” note or loom video showing me how to keep the system tidy going forward

You’ll have full temporary access to the drive and can use Google Drive’s native tools or third-party helpers (e.g., Google Apps Script, Drive for Desktop) as you prefer—just let me know what you plan to use so I can approve any integrations. Fast, careful attention to detail is more important than sheer speed, and confidentiality is a must because the data is patient-related.
