Fresh water habitat and water quality -- 2

Job ID: 33498148

Budget: £10 – £20 GBP

The physical habitat quality of the River Hull (West Beck), Driffield Canal and Main Drain will be assessed by using the RAPID software to analyse River Habitat Survey (RHS) data, and biological water quality will be assessed by using the River Invertebrate Classification Tool (RICT) software to analyse invertebrate data.

You should discuss the results focusing on the following questions:

How does the habitat quality/modification compare between the natural River Hull and the artificial environments of the Driffield Canal and Main Drain?
How do the chemical and biological water quality compare, and to what extent do the invertebrate assemblages reflect the expected results according to the RICT software?
The report should be split up into the following sections:

an abstract, summarising the main features of the study
an introduction to the study, including aims/objectives
brief methods
a results section
a discussion of the results
references
As a guideline, the complete document should be no more than 2400 words in length, excluding tables, figures and reference list.
