Freight Forwarder - Virtual assistance

We are looking to hire an assistance for our freight forwarder company.
The role is a virtual assistance position.
Working 100% from home you will be expected to arrange operational work in our logistic department. Ideally you will have worked within a logistics company or freight forwarder previously and ideally you will have some knowledge of the types of businesses that use the kinds of services that we offer already.
You will need to have organised work, impeccable time keeping and a keen eye for attention to detail. You will need to be self-motivated, resilient, thrive to achieve sales targets and get that kick when you get one over the line. You will also need to be computer literate and have a likeable phone manner.

Quick inform to customers in the UK and the EU
Following new customer accounts
Contact to customer and check their needs
Checking status with other carriers, shipping lines and transport involved in our operations.
