Foundation Grant Writer for Children’s Health
Budget: $250 – $750 CAD
Kids in Mind [login to view URL] are actively seeking the expertise of a grant writer to secure 10 x foundation grants with a minimum value of £5000 each to support mental health services for children who have suffered domestic abuse and are currently living in a womens refuge.
Leveraging your skills and experience, your primary responsibility will be to artistically express our project's mission, goals, and potential impact, aligning perfectly with the requirements of the foundation grants we are seeking.
Key responsibilities:
• Extensive research to identify potential donors and understanding the submission guidelines and criteria.
• Concise articulation of our project’s scope, timeline, budget, and potential impact.
• Drafting, editing, and submitting high-quality, persuasive grant proposals.

Ideal Qualifications:
• Proven experience in foundation grant writing particularly in the mental health sector
• Comprehensive understanding of philanthropy and non-profit fundraising strategies
• Solid background in children’s health projects
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and persuasive writing skills.
