Full Job Description
The Warehouse Associate is a position on the in-house team, Helping the team by picking orders and receiving freight. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: scheduling phone calls, taking the warehouse stock once a week with the help of other personnel (team), yours is to just keep proper records of stocks (manages inventory control, shipping and receiving, warehouse operations and maintenance of fleet and equipment)
Qualification
No prior experience needed. (As we will give you instructions)
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Strong time management and organizational skills
Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
Warehouse Associate Key Accountabilities:
Protects all company assets in the warehouse including non-stock merchandise
Provides a safe and clean environment for warehouse personnel
Places stock orders as required
Counts and receives incoming merchandise; reports shortages/overages to management in a timely manner, before required deadlines
Counts and completes all appropriate paperwork for merchandise returns to vendors
Provides ongoing stock replenishment to the sales floor
Isolates, sorts, and organizes all damaged and outdated products for subsequent supplier credits and returns
Notify management of out-of-stock merchandise
