Experienced Medical Billing Processor Needed
Budget: $8 – $15 USD
I’m looking for a medical biller who can take full ownership of our day-to-day revenue cycle on Athena. Every claim you touch will be a medical claim, and I need you to move it smoothly from submission through payment and, when necessary, denial follow-up.
Here’s what success looks like for me:
• Claims submission – batches go out daily, scrubbed and error-free.
• Payment posting – remits are posted within 24 hours, with adjustments and patient balances recorded accurately.
• Denial management – each denial is worked within 48 hours, routed for appeal or correction, and tracked until resolution.
You’ll work directly inside our Athena instance, so prior hands-on experience with Athenahealth’s billing module is essential. If you also know Epic, Cerner, or Medisoft that’s great, but Athena proficiency is the must-have.
HIPAA compliance, attention to detail, and clear status updates are non-negotiable. If you can keep our DSO low and our first-pass acceptance rate high, let’s talk.
