I have several Excel workbooks filled with text-only fields that need a thorough clean-up. The content is accurate, but the formatting is all over the place—mixed cases, inconsistent spacing, rogue line breaks, and the occasional hidden character. My goal is a set of sheets that look professional and load smoothly into downstream dashboards without triggering errors or ugly misalignments.

What I need from you
• Open every sheet in the collection and correct any formatting inconsistencies in the text cells—capitalization, spacing, date or phone-style patterns, stray carriage returns, non-printable characters, and so on.
• Keep every value exactly where it belongs; no shifting of rows or columns.
• Supply the cleaned file in the same structure, plus a short log of any global find-and-replace rules you applied so I can replicate them later if needed.

All of this should be handled directly in Microsoft Excel (or another fully compatible tool). A solid grasp of advanced functions—Flash Fill, Power Query, text formulas, and VBA where appropriate—will speed things up, but feel free to use whatever workflow you prefer as long as the output meets the above criteria.

Once the data reads clean on my end—no extra spaces, uniform formats, and zero import errors—I’ll release the milestone.
