Dynamic Index Page for Workbook
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
I'm seeking a specialist in Excel spreadsheets and data extraction to create a dynamic index page that pulls in total values from the last row of data from each worksheet in a workbook.
This task will require you to:
- Design an index page in a tabular format. This will offer a clear view of data and allow for easy updates.
- Include the following columns on the index page: workbook tab name, total values, and worksheet page names.
- Extract location data from different cells on each worksheet. The exact cell will vary on each worksheet.
- Extract total values from the last row of data from each worksheet in the workbook. The total values consist of data from 6 columns.
Ideal candidates should have previous experience with managing complex datasets in Excel, possess deep knowledge of cell referencing and data manipulation, and exhibit meticulous attention to detail. Familiarity with dynamic range formulas in Excel would be beneficial.
See attached Excel file, if you look at the summary tab, you can see how we want to pull in the info
The index page is something I started and then gut stuck!
If necessary the Total on each sheet can have a common name "eg Total to Summary" if that hellps
