Database Data Entry Assistance
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
I have a live database that is expanding and I need an extra set of capable hands to enter a backlog of new records. The source material is already organised; what matters is transferring each field into the right table with zero loss of detail. This is strictly a data-entry assignment—no analysis or cleaning at this stage—so speed is useful, but accuracy is essential.
You will be working directly in the database (MySQL/PostgreSQL experience is ideal, though any solid SQL background works). I will provide:
• credentials to a staging copy of the database,
• a concise data dictionary that explains every column,
• and a spreadsheet of the new records to be loaded.
Success means every supplied row is inserted, foreign keys remain intact, and simple count checks on my end match one-for-one with your upload. Once the staging checks out, I will migrate the data to production.
If this sounds straightforward to you and you have done bulk inserts or manual form entry in relational databases before, let’s get started.
