Data Extraction from Scientific Articles
I am looking for a freelancer to help me extract specific data from scientific articles. The project requires extracting both numerical values and description information from the articles. The job is not difficult, but I require someone who knows how to read graphs (example figure).
Specific Requirements:
- Extract keywords, references, and experimental results from the scientific articles
- Present the extracted data in a spreadsheet format (provided + example provided too)
Experience and Skills:
- Proficiency in scientific research and understanding of scientific articles
- Knowledge in how to use Excel
- Strong data extraction and organization skills - Excel tables must be nice, coloured and organized
- Attention to detail and accuracy in extracting and documenting data
Please note that I will provide the articles to be extracted from (altogether 54, but through the initial process you will exclude some due to irrelevancy) - you are not going to extract values from all of them but expecting around 50 % of them, depending on the initial overview, all is explained in Word document and we will also do video chat before you start.
