Customer Database Entry Updates
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
Our customer records sit inside an existing, fully-functioning database, and I need someone who can jump straight in and keep them current. Your core responsibility will be straightforward: take the new customer information I supply each day, enter it directly into the system, and make sure any changed details overwrite the right fields without creating duplicates.
Because the data lives in a database rather than spreadsheets or paper files, familiarity with basic SQL commands or similar data-entry tools inside CRMs will help you move quickly. Accuracy and consistency matter more than speed; every name, email, phone number and address must match the source exactly so our downstream reporting remains reliable.
At this stage the work is limited to inputting and updating records, but if things go well we may expand into cleaning legacy data or producing simple customer reports—so experience in those areas is a plus, though not required.
I’ll provide clear written instructions, field definitions, and secure credentials. All I ask in return is:
• Daily progress notes so I know what’s been added or amended
• Respect for strict confidentiality of all customer information
