Looking for a dedicated crime researcher and data collector to support multiple YouTube channels focusing on current, historical, and unsolved crimes. Your work will be crucial in creating engaging and informative content.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research current, historical, and unsolved crimes
- Gather data from news websites, police reports, social media, and competitors
- Transcribe and format videos to gather data (AI will speed this up for you a ton but still needs final review)
- Collect detailed information on crimes, suspects, and community impact
- Obtain FOIA requests, bodycam/CCTV footage, and crime scene photos
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Familiarity with crime-related content
- Ability to navigate various data sources
- Experience with FOIA requests and handling sensitive information
- Detail-oriented and organized
