Crate Annotation for ML
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
Hello,
I am looking for a detail-oriented individual for an image annotation project, with the potential for a long-term collaboration. This first task is to label a batch of 67 images using the software LabelImg.
The main goal is to accurately draw bounding boxes around two types of objects: "small boxes" and "large boxes". Successful completion of this initial batch will likely lead to more work, as we have more images to be labeled in the future.
This task does not require any prior experience in data labeling. I will provide you with the LabelImg software and clear instructions. As a reference, I can annotate about 4 images per hour, and I estimate the workload for this first batch to be around 15-17 hours.
Your Responsibilities:
- Carefully review each of the 67 images.
- Draw precise bounding boxes around all "small boxes" and "large boxes".
- Assign the correct label ('small_box' or 'large_box') to each bounding box.
- Save the annotations and deliver the resulting label files.
Requirements:
- High attention to detail and patience.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- Reliable and able to meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills in English.
Helpful, but not required:
- Having Python already installed on your system would be a plus, as it can make setting up LabelImg easier.
What I will provide:
- The set of 67 images.
- The LabelImg software package.
- A clear guide on how to perform the labeling task correctly.
Project Scope & Deliverables:
- Volume: 67 images.
- Total estimated effort: approx. 15 hours.
- Deliverables: The generated annotation files (usually XML or TXT) for all 67 images.
-Deadline: The project must be completed by Wednesday, June 18, 2025.
Budget:
- My budget is in the range of $4 - $8 per hour. Please state your desired hourly rate in your proposal.
