Copy Information from Websites Into a Spreadsheet (many projects)
Budget: $20 – $30 USD
The purpose of this project is to find RATINGS of 182 Dermatology doctors and copy them to the attached spreadsheet, one doctor per row.
A REVIEW is created when a patient visits a doctor and afterwards writes a description of it and gives the doctor between 1 and 5 stars. The doctor’s RATING is 2 numbers: the average number of stars and the number of REVIEWS. For example, if he has reviews of 3 and 4 stars, his rating is 3.5/2 or 3.5(2). (Sometimes the terminology is reversed.)
There are two ways to find ratings:
#1. Run a search engine search
Columns B and C contain search terms that you can copy into any search engine to find links to ratings. For each rating found:
a. Find the domain of the website it is in, at the top of a column letter F or more.
b. If it’s not there, browse to the page in the website where you search for a doctor (where you enter their name) and type the link in row 1 of the first available column.
c. (You can just show only the domain part of the link like I did:
- Type in the domain and select the cell.
- Click INSERT
- Click LINK
- In the form that appears, enter the link of the page where you enter the doctor name (b above)
- Clink ok.
d. Type the rating into the cell on the row of the doctor and in this column of its domain (b).
#2. Use a website from row 1, column F and beyond (entered in step 1.b), that displays doctor ratings
a. Connect to the website at the top of a column at or past F (created in #1.c or by me already.)
b. Copy the doctor name from column D into the website and look for their rating.
c. Enter a dash instead (see H3 and H4 for examples) if the doctor is not found in that website.
Enter as many ratings (including more than one rating for the same doctor) as you can find.
You must be able to work at least 8-10 hours in the next 24 hours if necessary.
After this there are many other doctor specialties to find ratings to like this!
But before we talk, please tell me the next prime number after 7.
When I hire you, I will immediately milestone and release your $5 FL fee for you in addition to the price of filling in this spreadsheet (as much as you can find.)
Thanks,
Charlie
