Copy Data From Websites into a Spreadsheet
Budget: $15 – $20 USD
Attached is an Excel spreadsheet,
Spreadsheet of Patient Experiences,
that has sample information on doctors, and an HTML file,
Links to Websites with Information on Doctors,
with the names of doctors whom I want information on.
The HTML file has links where a doctor name is on the left side and the names of websites are on that row that have information on that doctor. Click on the name of a website on the same row as a doctor name and you will go directly to a page in that website with that doctor’s information. So we can find information on each doctor at many websites.
This project is to copy data that describes the types of procedures the doctor performs, which is called EXPERIENCES, EXPERIENCE, CONDITIONS, SPECIALTY EXPERTISE, CONDITIONS OR PROCEDURES, AREAS OF EXPERTISE and EXPERTISE.
Example: Spreadsheet cell B2 contains the name of doctor Kimberly W Keefe Smith MD. Cell C1 says “HEALTHGRADES EXPERIENCES”. The HTML file has a link to this doctor’s information in the HEALTHGRADES website at row number 1 with the word “HEALTHGRADES” at the top. Click on that link and you will go to page https://www.healthgrades.com/physician/dr-kimberly-keefe-smith-ckccz. Scroll down and click the heading underlined Experience, or keep scrolling, and you will get to a section labeled “Experience” and below that “What Dr. Keefe Smith treats most often.” Click SHOW MORE to see the entire list of 8 experiences. Those 8 experiences have been copied to column C of the spreadsheet that says “HEALTHGRADE EXPERIENCES” in cells C2 to C9.
Information for Dr. Keefe has been found and copied from 5 of the 7 websites.
No information for doctor number 2, Anna C Vanderhoff MD, was found on the 7 websites.
Doctor number 3 is Antonio R Gargiulo MD. Information is found on 6 of the websites and the first value from each of those 6 websites has been copied into row 25.
Your job is to go through all of the doctors and websites this way and copy the data found. Doctor 3 is a test. You need to find the lists of “experiences”, “conditions” etc. and copy the rest of the information for doctor #3. Once you know how to do that, you should be able to check all doctors in all website.
When I hire you:
1. I will immediately create and release a milestone of $10 to pay your FL fee so you will keep all pay from FL.
2. Then you can take the test to finish doctor #3.
3. Then we discuss the job of finishing the spreadsheet.
