I have a set of mechanical combined PDFs and AutoCAD files and I need every part they reference captured in one clear Bill of Materials. The final deliverable must be an Excel sheet; I’ll share the exact template as soon as we start so you can drop the data straight in without re-formatting.
Your task is to open each drawing, extract every item—no omissions—then merge, de-duplicate and reconcile descriptions, part numbers and quantities. Because the source includes both PDF prints and DWG files, you’ll likely switch between a PDF reader and AutoCAD (or a compatible viewer) to verify callouts, so accuracy is critical.
