Configure 67 AIO Desktops
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
I have sixty-seven All-In-One desktop units arriving at our facility that need to be processed before we forward them to individual offices. Here is the exact flow I need you to handle for every unit:
1. Unpack the factory-sealed box carefully, keeping all original materials intact for reuse.
2. Install the Wi-Fi chip I provide (brand already chosen and included in each carton).
3. Apply our prepared USB flash drive image so the machine boots straight into the standardized environment on first power-up.
4. Affix the supplied asset tag in the designated top-right rear corner, then record the serial number and tag number in a simple spreadsheet.
5. Power-on verification: confirm the image loads correctly, Wi-Fi is recognized, and no obvious hardware faults appear.
6. Re-pack each device with its accessories in the same box, seal it, and stack it on the outgoing pallet.
7. Clean the work area and dispose any unwanted material.
Everything—foam, manuals, screws—must go back exactly where it was to avoid transit damage.
I’ll provide:
• Wi-Fi cards pre-sorted by serial
• The USB imaging stick (with step-by-step instructions)
• Asset tags and a template XLSX log
• Packing tape, labels, and pallet wrap
You bring:
• Basic Phillips and Torx drivers
• Anti-static precautions
• The time and care to run through all 67 units consistently
Acceptance criteria: spreadsheet fully populated, spot-check of five random boxes shows correct image, working Wi-Fi, and neat repack.
The workspace is ready; once you’re booked, we can begin immediately and aim to finish within three working days.
