Comprehensive Car Insurance Website Data Research
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
Based on the spreadsheet below, I need someone to to web research - no technical skills required, just patience, and a web browser.
For the 210 countries listed, you need to find a car insurance website that deals with that country. The local term for "Car Insurance" is listed in the document, and you can also use the TLD to limit your Google search results to websites from that country only - for example, ireland is IE, so if you add "site:.ie" to your Google search, you will only get sites from Ireland. In most cases, a name of a car insurance company is provided, and this may help you find the website.
After finding the website, note it in the spreadsheet, and try to follow the procedure to purchase car insurance online via this website. If there is no way to purchase online (i.e. call a phone number only), then note this, and move to the next.
During the application process, note how they request your vehicle type. Do they ask for the license plate of the vehicle ? (only), Do they ask for the VIN of the vehicle only ? Do they just offer drop-down-lists of make / model /year (only) ? - Do they require a national Identifier before continuing ? Note this on the spreadsheet.
Note that often the vehicle selection may be on the second step of the process, the first step could be the driver details, just enter random information here, to skip that step.
I am looking to find countries where the user only enters a license plate, and the insurance company can determine the vehicle details from this, I know of some already, but I want a comprehensive research completed.
Please, do 5 countries first, and send me your results, so that I can verify that you have understood the process before continuing.
Payment will be 50%/50%, where the first payment will be on the first 100, and the second payment when 200 countries have been done. I will give an allowance of a maximum of 10 countries that do not have car insurance websites (very poor or small countries may not have car insurance websites)
Rules as as always;
-Never bid less than you are willing to do the job for. If you ask for more money after bidding, the answer will be an immediate no.
- Never ask to be paid before the job is complete, you need to complete at least 100 before the first payment is released.
