School Data Research & Download Task
Some work has already been done, but the remaining tasks need to be completed.
We are looking for a detail-oriented researcher to finalize data collection for 22,749 schools based on the provided Excel file. The task involves gathering school logos, admission policies, and admission page URLs.
Scope of Work:
For each school listed in the Excel file (Column A: School ID, Column B: School Website), complete the following tasks:
Download the school logo from the website and save the file using the School ID as the filename.
Example: If School ID is 10001, save the file as 10001.gif, 10001.png, 10001.jpeg, or 10001.jpg.
Download the September 2025 Admission Policy in PDF format and save it using the School ID as the filename.
Example: If School ID is 10001, save it as 10001.pdf.
If the admission policy is available as text instead of a PDF, copy the content and save it as a text file (10001.txt).
Save the September 2025 Admission Page URL in Column C of the Excel file.
If the school’s website is not accessible, enter NA in Column C.
Remarks:
Some progress has been made, but the remaining schools still need to be processed.
Ensure all files are correctly named and stored as per the instructions.
Deliverables:
Updated Excel file with admission page URLs.
A ZIP folder containing all downloaded school logos.
A separate ZIP folder containing all admission policy files (PDFs and text files).

Ability to extract data accurately and efficiently.
Experience in web scraping or manual data collection.
Attention to detail to ensure correct file naming and formatting.
