Compile Attorney Lists and Trial Venues From Captions
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I have roughly 100 digital case captions in Excel format that need to be paired with attorney and venue information. For every caption, I want a tidy, searchable record that shows each party’s attorney alongside the attorney’s law-firm name and venue. In most instances, you should be able to easily identify the case from the case caption provided and a web search. I can provide more information if you have difficulty identifying a case.
You will work directly from the files I supply and capture every unique attorney–firm pairing exactly as it appears. No contact details are necessary—just the attorney names, firms, and ultimate trial venues. Accuracy and consistent spelling matter because these lists will feed into a larger database.
Deliverables
• One Excel workbook with clearly marked columns for: case name, party (plaintiff / defendant / etc.), attorney name, and law-firm name.
• All entries double-checked against the source captions so totals match the ±100 cases provided.
Requirements
• You should already be very comfortable finding case information across a variety of databases (e.g., PACER)
• High attention to detail and accuracy
If you already use citation-management tools, text extraction utilities, or Excel shortcuts, feel free; I’m interested in clean results, not the method. Let me know your turnaround time and any clarifying questions, and I’ll share a sample caption so you can confirm layout before proceeding with the full batch.
There may be opportunity for follow up work.
