Commercial Electrical Takeoff
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
I have a full set of commercial electrical drawings and need a meticulous quantity take-off from them. Every lighting fixture, power outlet, switchboard, access-control point, and any other symbol shown has to be captured and clearly itemised.
The counts must be organised in an Excel spreadsheet so I can filter by drawing, circuit, or symbol type and drop the data straight into my estimating software. Please include separate columns for tag/description, quantity, drawing reference, and any notes that will help my estimating team see where the figures came from.
Accuracy is key: I will spot-check the spreadsheet against the PDFs, so each total must match the plans exactly. If you use PlanSwift, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, or similar tools to speed the process, just let me know—whatever workflow you prefer is fine as long as the final sheet is clean and consistent.
Once awarded, I’ll share the PDFs immediately and would like the completed Excel file back within a week.
