Annotate Shareable Moments in Entertainment VODs
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
Title: Video Annotation Assistant Needed for Gaming & Entertainment VODs
I’m looking for a reliable video annotation assistant to review entertainment-focused VODs and identify moments that would make good short-form clips.
You will watch videos from different streamers and mark the moments that stand out — funny moments, surprising reactions, exciting gameplay, strong dialogue, big reveals, intense combat, fails, emotional moments, or anything viewers would likely want to share.
This is not scene tagging. I do not need character labels, topic summaries, or generic scene changes. I only need actual standout moments that could become clips.
What you will do:
For each assigned video, watch the content carefully and log every shareable moment you find.
For each moment, you will provide:
-Video file name or URL
-Start timestamp
-End timestamp
-Short one-sentence description of why the moment is worth clipping
Example descriptions:
-“Funny unexpected reaction after losing the fight”
-“High-skill combat moment with a clean final kill”
-“Streamer tells a funny story with strong punchline”
-“Unexpected twist reveal that changes the mood”
-“Exciting chase sequence with strong pacing”
Some videos will require a specific focus, such as:
-Combat moments only — fights, kills, clutch plays, high-skill action, intense gameplay
-Balanced moments — a mix of action, humor, dialogue, pacing, reactions, and memorable stream moments
-Dialogue/chat moments — funny conversations, strong reactions, jokes, stories, or emotional moments
I will tell you the focus type for each video before you begin.
Deliverables:
You will submit your work in a CSV or Google Sheet with these columns:
- Video name
- Start timestamp
- End timestamp
- Moment type
- One-sentence description
- Confidence score from 1–5
Timestamps must be accurate and easy for an editor to use. Please do not guess. If a moment starts at 00:14:32 and ends at 00:15:08, mark it as closely as possible.
You must watch the assigned videos manually. Please do not rely on automated detection tools to find the moments for you.
Quality expectations:
- Watch each assigned video fully
- Do not skip large sections
- Only mark moments that actually stand out
- Avoid marking boring or low-energy sections
- Keep descriptions short and clear
- Be consistent with timestamps
- Ask questions if you are unsure what qualifies as shareable
To start, I will send 3 short test videos. This is to make sure we agree on what counts as a good clip-worthy moment. After the test is approved, this can become ongoing work with a larger backlog and weekly assignments.
This job is a good fit if you enjoy watching gaming, streaming, YouTube, Twitch-style content, or entertainment videos, and you have a good sense for what makes a moment funny, exciting, surprising, or worth sharing.
When applying, please include:
-Your rate or price per video hour reviewed
-Your experience with gaming, streaming, YouTube, TikTok, or short-form content
-A brief explanation of what makes a video moment “clip-worthy” to you
-The phrase “I understand clip-worthy moments” at the top of your proposal so I know you read the full post
