Job Title: Freelance Excel Expert
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Excel Expert to join us on a freelance/contract basis. The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, automation, and reporting. You will play a key role in managing and optimizing complex datasets, developing dashboards, and creating efficient tools to enhance decision-making.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain advanced Excel spreadsheets and models.
Automate processes using VBA, macros, or Power Query to enhance efficiency.
Analyze large datasets and create insightful reports and dashboards.
Develop custom functions, pivot tables, and formulas to meet business needs.
Clean, organize, and validate raw data for accurate reporting.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their requirements and deliver solutions accordingly.
Troubleshoot Excel-related issues and optimize existing workflows.
Generate visualizations (charts/graphs) to communicate data trends effectively.
Requirements:
Proven experience as an Excel expert with a portfolio of past work or relevant projects.
Proficiency in advanced Excel functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, nested formulas).
Expertise in VBA for automation and macros.
Familiarity with Power Query and Power Pivot is a plus.
Strong data analysis skills and the ability to interpret trends and insights.
Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities.
Ability to meet deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision.
Good communication skills to interact with stakeholders and understand requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Google Sheets or other spreadsheet tools.
Background in financial analysis, business intelligence, or data analytics.
Knowledge of SQL or other data-handling tools is a plus.
