Access Quote Sheet Development

I run a corporate housing company and my Excel-based quote sheet has grown so complex that maintenance is slowing us down. I need the whole process rebuilt in Microsoft Access (or a similar lightweight database) so pricing is fast, reliable, and easy to adjust.

The new tool must automatically calculate rates while letting me switch between customizable templates—for example, short-term stays, long-term corporate contracts, or seasonal promotions—without touching any formulas. Right now every figure is keyed in by hand, so the Access front end should give me clean input forms for unit details, a full pricing breakdown, and client information, then push those records straight into the database for quick look-ups on future quotes.

I also want the finished quote to export neatly to PDF or Excel so the sales team can send it off immediately.

Deliverables
• Normalised Access database with tables for Units, Clients, Rate Rules, and Quotes
• Data-entry forms that guide users through Unit details, Pricing breakdown, and Client information
• A quote-generation form that pulls the data, applies automated pricing logic, and outputs a branded template
• At least two sample templates that I can clone and tweak on my own
• Written setup notes so I can add new fields or pricing rules later

The project is complete when I can open Access, enter a few details, press “Generate Quote,” and receive a clean PDF or Excel file with the correct numbers—no manual math required.
