Scraping customer reviews for key products from retailer websites

Instructions
• For each product (outlined below), please create an individual sheet in the attached Excel Workbook (i.e., the final workbook should have 9 sheets)
• The sheet is split into two sections: Summary and Individual Reviews
• Within the Summary section:
o For each retailer, there will be one row per manufacturer that summarizes:
 Retailer
 Manufacturer
 Product description
 Link to retailer website
 Price
 Average Review
 Number of Reviews
 % that Recommend (Note: this may not be included for each retailer)
 Summary of “What customers say” based on the auto-generated AI summary at the top of the reviews section (Note: every retailer may not have this AI generated section, so leave it blank in those cases)
• Within the Individual Reviews section
o There will be one row per review per manufacturer for each retailer (e.g., if Home Depot has 200 reviews for this product, there should be 200 Home Depot rows, then repeated for Lowe’s, Amazon, etc)
o For each review, we are collecting:
 Category (same as above)
 Product (same as above)
 Retailer (same as above)
 Manufacturer (same as above)
 Product Description (same as above)
 Number of Stars (e.g., 1-5)
 Verified Purchase Y/N (Note: this may not be included for each retailer)
 Recommended Y/N (Note: this may not be included for each retailer)
 Review Text – include the entirety of the review
• Repeat for each retailer and then for each product
• AFTER YOU FINISH ONE PRODUCT (E.G., CATCH BASINS) PLEASE SHARE THE OUTPUT EXCEL SHEET BEFORE MOVING ON TO ALL OTHER PRODUCTS
• A few notes as you are selecting the products to compare:
o Not every manufacturer will make every product – in that case, just skip that manufacturer for that particular product (for example: ADS may not have any Channel Drains, but will have some Catch Basins)
o Ensure you are comparing similar products and the only material type that should be compared is plastic (refer to the links below for each product to get a sense of each)
o The size of the product may be different across manufacturers (e.g., 12x12 vs. 13x13 Catch Basin) but it should essentially be the same thing
