About the Project
We’re seeking motivated and detail-oriented freelance contributors to help us collect and annotate retail store images across the U.S. This Freelance Gig is ideal for students or freelancers looking for flexible, short-term fieldwork. You’ll visit retail locations, capture both exterior and interior photos, and upload them with annotations that will power a nationwide retail data initiative.

Key Responsibilities
Capture high-quality exterior photos (3 per store) of storefronts.
Take context and aisle photos highlighting the walk-up to the Altria section.
Capture planogram shots (2 per store) and close-ups of shelf bays (2–4 per store).
Ensure clarity, proper lighting, and framing in all images.
Upload images using the provided tools and complete basic annotations accurately.
Follow all guidelines and naming conventions for consistency.
Manage your own schedule and travel routes efficiently to maximize store coverage.

Why This Freelance is Critical for Our Success:
Your contributions form the foundation of a large-scale retail intelligence initiative. The images and annotations you collect will directly support AI model training, retail analytics, and in-store insights for one of the largest consumer goods datasets in the country.
