Project Description:
We are seeking an experienced data collection / web research specialist to compile and deliver a clean CSV
database of approximately 50,000 U.S.-based retail business records within a defined industry sector.
The data will be used for a marketplace and routing platform currently in development.
Required Deliverable:
A clean CSV spreadsheet containing business records with the following fields where publicly available.
Mandatory Fields:
• Business / Shop Name
• Street Address
• City
• State
• ZIP Code
• Primary Phone Number
• Email Address
• Latitude
• Longitude
• Source of Data (Google / website / directory etc.)
• Record Status (active / unverified)
Preferred / Bonus Fields:
• Contact Name / Owner Name
• Mobile / SMS Number
• Website URL
• Google Maps URL
• Last Verified Date
• Service Area / Delivery Radius (if publicly available)
Requirements:
• Approximate target: 50,000 U.S. business records
• CSV must be clean and consistently formatted
• Duplicate records removed
• Closed or permanently inactive businesses removed where practical
• Data sourced only from publicly available information
• No restricted or unlawful data sources
• Progress updates during project
• Final delivery must be spreadsheet-ready and suitable for web platform import
Ideal Candidate:
• Experienced in web scraping, Google Maps research, data mining, or business directory compilation
• Strong English communication
• Experience handling large CSV datasets
• Able to provide examples of similar work
Budget:
Fixed project budget: $250.
Bonus Incentive:
An additional $50 performance bonus will be paid upon successful delivery of high-quality bonus/enriched fields
where publicly available, including items such as contact names, mobile numbers, website links, verification
details, or service-area information.
