Retail Competitor Financial Data Compilationp -- 2
Budget: ₹750 – ₹1,250 INR
I need a comprehensive, well-sourced package of financial data on the main players in the retail space. The assignment centres on competitor analysis, so the figures you gather should help me compare profitability, revenue growth, cost structure, liquidity, same-store sales, e-commerce share, and any other performance indicators that shed light on how each company is really doing.
Scope
• Focus exclusively on retailers—both brick-and-mortar and online—that operate nationally or hold significant regional market share. A sample size of at least eight to ten direct competitors will let me benchmark meaningfully.
• Source the most recent fiscal-year or trailing-twelve-month numbers from public filings (10-K, 10-Q, annual reports), investor presentations, earnings calls, trade journals, or trusted data platforms such as Bloomberg, Capital IQ, or S&P Market Intelligence.
• Customer demographics and broader industry-trend material are not essential; include them only if they appear in the same source and can be placed in a separate tab.
Required deliverables
1. Clean spreadsheet (Excel or Google Sheets) with every line item clearly labelled, units specified, and one column dedicated to source citations for each figure.
2. Two- to three-page executive summary that highlights key trends, outliers, and strategic insights drawn from the numbers.
3. Reference sheet listing full source details with live links and publication dates.
Acceptance criteria
• All figures are the latest available, reported in a consistent currency, and reconcile with the original documents.
• Every data point is traceable to a publicly verifiable source.
• Summary focuses on insights, not boilerplate company histories.
If you already have access to premium databases, please mention which ones; it will speed up verification. Let me know your timeline and any clarifying questions so we can get started right away.
