The ask is to run a number of keyword searches on both app and web for Yelp, Thumbtack, and Angi, and on web for Google Local Services.
Searches to be run across a number of cities; record screenshots as well as a number of data points.
For each keyword search, you’ll likely be prompted with follow up questions (e.g., what type of issue, is it an emergency, when are you looking to hire). For each search term, please be consistent across platforms with the way you answer the follow up questions.

Quantitative:
- Total review count
- Avg. Rating(e.g. 4.3)
- Rating distribution (e.g., 80% 5-star, 20% 4-star)
- Average review character count, # of reviews with >85 characters
Qualitative (please capture everything you see related to the topic)
- Price visibility: Is a job price listed (Y/N)? If so, what is the price and what does it cover (e.g., estimate, quote, service, etc.)? Is service call price listed (Y/N)? If so, is it waived if pro hired?
- Availability indicators: Is anything related to availability listed (Y/N)? If so, what?
