Field Survey of E-Rickshaw Drivers, Auto Drivers, and Fleet Owners for EV Business Research

Project Overview:
We are exploring opportunities in the electric vehicle (EV) ecosystem and need a freelancer to conduct primary market research with e-rickshaw drivers, auto-rickshaw drivers, and fleet owners. The objective is to identify the key challenges, pain points, unmet needs, and business opportunities related to electric vehicles.
Scope of Work:
Interview approximately:
70–100 e-rickshaw and auto-rickshaw drivers
15–20 fleet owners/operators
Conduct surveys through face-to-face interviews, phone calls, or a combination of both.
Conduct survey of drivers and fleet owners/operators nearby Noida sector -62, Noida Electronic City and Labour Chowk
Gather insights on:
Vehicle performance and reliability
Battery-related issues (charging, swapping, replacement costs, battery life)
Maintenance and repair challenges
Financing and insurance difficulties
Operating costs and profitability
Availability of charging infrastructure
Spare parts availability
Service quality from manufacturers/dealers
Desired improvements and unmet needs
Willingness to adopt new EV-related products or services
Deliverables:
Survey questionnaire (to be finalized by us before fieldwork).
Raw survey data in Excel/Google Sheets.
Photos/audio recordings
Freelancer Requirements:
Experience in market research, field surveys, or customer interviews.
Ability to communicate effectively with drivers and small business owners.
Strong data collection and reporting skills.
Preference for candidates with experience in the EV, automotive, logistics, or mobility sectors.
Timeline:
Expected completion within 2–3 weeks.
